About ide8

ide8 started in Amsterdam in 2021 with a frustration shared by everyone who's ever tried a task app: they all just give you a longer list. Lists don't show you when you've taken on too much, or where your team is stuck — they just grow.

So we built ide8 around one idea: make work visual. When you can see your day and your team's workload, you make better decisions about what to do next — and what to drop.

What we care about

• Clarity over features. We say no to bloat. Every feature has to earn its place on the screen.
• Privacy by default. Your data is hosted in the EU, handled under the GDPR, and always yours to export or delete.
• Fair pricing. Free for individuals, honest per-user pricing for teams, and no lock-in — ever.

We're a distributed team headquartered in Amsterdam, with people across the Netherlands, Germany and the Nordics. We build in public and listen closely to the people who use ide8 every day.
